The opportunites for advancement at State Farm were endless. An employee could chose a path and management was very supportive. I chose to continue my education and found the encouragement from my supervisor inspiring. A new performance rewards program was installed and my supervisor helped me to understand the program and encouraged me to shine and take advantage of the program - successfully!...

We were given the opportunity to have fun at our job - as long as we got the work done! I was always much more productive when I was having a good time, and I can have a good time quite easily! Sharing experiences about the job - usually in a humorous manner - made me a better employee and usually helped teach other employees at the same time....

Twenty years ago there was first a screening interview with a human resource representative and a typing and mathematical test. After this first screening interview, a candidate was referred to a department with an opening and offered an interview if there was a good match. I interviewed with the Accounting department and was pleased to be offered a job a few days after the interview....

The opportunities available to a willing person at State Farm were endless. A tuition aid reimbursement opportunity led me to earn an Associates in General Studies degree while working for State Farm. Rewards for work well done.

A relative worked at State Farm and told me it was a great place to work. I applied and was offered an entry level position. I worked in a couple of different departments within State Farm and personally grew with the opportunities presented to me.
