What are the three best things about working at state street?

State Street is very supportive of continuing education whether finishing up a bacherlors degree while earning valuable work experience or earning a masters degree they are there for you not only with flexible scheduling but also with helping with the costs. Also State Street fosters a great team oriented workplace that also encouraging moving not only up the career ladder but also across so if the job you originally get hired for is not you after working for a year feel free to go looking in another direction. In this position I put my finance degree to work. Skills used were account reconciliation, Problem solving, work in a deadline oriented environment, communication with clients (international and domestic), and mutual fund activities.

This position requires the individual to source and identify candidates for open positions through various channels, including internal position responses, internal transfers, employee referrals, internet advertisements, internet data mining and direct recruiting. Presents sourcing of information and marketing opportunities to client's human resources staff. Information may include comprehensive demographic studies, completed site evaluations, pricing information, etc. Evaluates candidates' resumes against position requisitions criteria for interest and acceptability. I was responsible for 10 Municipal Bond Fund and 5 Equity
Fund Statistical Data Forms, 5 NSARs consisting of Municipal
Bond Equity Funds, 3 full AMPS compliance tests, 15-20
Excel-based spreadsheets detailing the Top Ten Brokers and
Subscriptions/Redemptions which support the NSARs.
I also
helped the rest of the stuff with their AMPS, NSARs,
Statistical Data Forms and the Excel spreadsheets.
