How would you describe what you did at taylor university?

Followed in my family footsteps by pursuing education. Started an Art minor because I was pretty sure it was going to evolve into more than a hobby one day. I played baseball all four years which was a major time commitment. In return, I got no major league contract and a torn rotator cuff.

What did you learn along the way at taylor university?

Hard work is the only way to get anywhere. It doesn't matter how it's focused, as long as you do it with all of your energy and skill. Even though I'm not pursuing a career in my education degree, I believe that 4 year experience was just as valuable as anything I'll ever do. It is a very challenging and respected school of which I will have fond memories for the rest of my life.... read more

Involved in the athletic program and other extracurricular activities while maintaining a strong GPA and meeting my future wife.

How would you describe what you did at taylor university?

Studied a well-rounded liberal arts education. Took many classes in the fields of Sociology, Social Work, Psychology, Teaching English As A Second-Language, Leadership, Christian Ministry, Intra-area Studies, and Honors. Pursued the abilities to think critically, learn from others, study intensely, and above all, work hard.

Major: Sociology: Family Studies.
Minor: TESOL Certification.
Leadership positions on campus: Discipleship Assistant (Residence Life), ESL Ministry team member, Mothers Of Preschoolers (MOPS) volunteer, etc.
