Experiences at union pacific railroad

My joba at Union Pacific was called, Ex-Board Clerk. On this job I had to be qualifed on all the office jobs. This was important, because I always worked a different job each week. I learned a lot working for Union Pacific, the job made me very flexible.

During the interview, I assured the interviewer that I was willing to go the extra mile and give 110 present, for the job. During my 12 years of employment I did just that.

Create and maintain web applications for clients.

I started as a clerk, accepted two promotions.
One was exepected and over whelming as a
Assitant Terminal Manager, spent 1 entire summer
in the field, without a day off in 3 months.

Next was more sane and turned out to be a great career track as
Operations Manager, turned out to be a great situation. Was
able to learn from the beginning, the company philosophy,
how things worked and, what was expected. Turned into a
great situation till, I was layed off after almlsot 15 years
with the company.Hard core learning curve, and much
anticipation of new things to learn....
