What was the main reason for accepting your job (location, opportunity, money) at university of south florida?My wife left a position in New York City for USF. While I had a wonderful job there, I was too old for a long-distance relationship; in any event, we could not afford to maintain two households.

How long did it take for you to land your job at university of south florida?This question is not quite applicable to my circumstances. I started as a part-time instructor immediately upon my wife's being hired. Three years later, a temporary job in my field opened at precisely the time I was available for it.

What are people reading at university of south florida?The faculty members I know read mostly their own publications in obscure journals. Most of the students I know don't have time to read anything for pleasure.
