Experiences at ups supply chain solutions

I feel that my role with UPS is a big part of why customers stick around. I developed working, and some personal, relationships with my customers. I often worked long hours to ensure that all pending issues were handled; however, since the company has re-structured, I have taken on a slightly different role. I now focus more on the internal issues rather than the external issues as I have helped to train many people to assist on hundreds of accounts so they can offer support. Every day I am learning something new and the knowledge comes from every single person I encounter....

There is no secret to getting hired at UPS; however, many employees were hired on from a temp agency that UPS works closely with. I was fortunate in the fact that I found an ad in a newspaper, applied, interviewed, and was hired.

Checked drivers route for completion for delivery.

Scanned commerical invoices, packing list and other international documents.

Faxed and photocopied documents.
Answered multiline switchboard.
