Managed the development and execution of revitalized branding program for USAA with new tagline, visual system and approach to marketing materials implemented throughout various product divisions; managed military-focused advertising including media schedule, creative development, budgeting, etc. Oversaw all marketing division creative for brand compliance....

First, of all the places I have worked, I have enjoyed USAA coworkers the most. They are educated ... funny ... and inspirational. The line managers are good to work with and fair; and I have served under four.

Second, we have a CEO who has kicked open doors of communication and is reinventing the company -- all for the benefit of the customer. I am also a customer who buys the products and services. (I am not being paid to say this.)

Third, the company paid for the second half of my MBA and other insurance education.

Is it easy to work for USAA? - no. I am probably challenged to the max. Is it worth it? - yes....
