Avionics for multiple aircraft. I also worked as a resource advisor managing over $500 million squadron budget. Currently, I maintain Air Force One.

During this time I managed a fitness center. I was a unit training manager which included preparing and instructing classes. The last four years of my military career I was a military instructor and also operated and managed a resale operation.

I received job/work requests, assigned a priority to them, dispatched them to the proper repair team. I also applied cost estimations for supplies and services to the requests.

How would you describe what you did at usaf?

* Responsible for maintaining the electro-environmental systems on assigned C-130H aircraft.
* Performs all on-equipment maintenance including preventive maintenance inspections, operational checks, removal and replacement, troubleshooting, repairs of aircraft power and air distribution
systems, subsystenms, components, and test equipment using technical publications.
* Systems maintained include direct and alternating current power, aircraft landing and anti-skid, flight and fuel control, lighting, air conditioning, cabin pressurization, anti-icing, oxygen, and fire extinguishing.
* Records data into automated maintenance data collection systems, operations logs, inspection records, and aircraft forms.
* Recommends methods to improve equipment performance and maintenance procedures.
* Provides training to all lesser skilled personnel.
* Promotes safety, security, and foreign object damage awareness.

* Worked in 100th Air Refueling Wing Orderly Room. I performed a variety of clerical duties and utilized knowledge of systems or procedures; copied data, compiled records and reports, filed AF form 988 (leave form), and filed drug test (urine test) paperwork. I tabulated and posted data in record books. I gave information to and interviewed customers. I operated office machines, such as typewriter, adding, calculating, and duplicating (copy) machines. How would you describe what you did at usaf?

* Worked in 100th Air Refueling Wing bench stock, checking tools and equipment in and out to personnel, helped move shop equipment, monitored rag control program, performed stocking and inventory of parts/hardware duties. I complied with all hazardous waste disposal procedures and general safety procedures associated with aircraft maintenance. I am familiar and understand the importance of rag and tool control programs and the FOD program. I am mechanically inclined, and I am a very quick learner. I have started my private pilot's license (68 flying hours), so I understand the importance of the programs associated aircraft maintenance and the importance of getting an air worthy aircraft back to the owner. I have an understanding of red "X" and red "/" discrepancies. I understand the theory of flight--operation of rudders, ailerons, elevators and the associated trim systems. Being a USAF dependent, I have been around aircraft maintenance my whole life, my father was a crew chief for 22 years.... read more
