Experiences at virginia commonwealth university

To be accepted into Virginia Commonwealth University, you need to have good grades and letters of recommendation. It is also good to have extracurricular activities that you have done as well.

While I was earning my Master degree, I worked in a runaway shelter, an adolescent correctional facility, and an independant living program for adolescents. Prior to that I had worked for 2.5 years at a state psychiatric hospital for children and adolescents and for 2 years at a private psychiatric hospital for adolsecents....

Received a B.A. in History.

Tried to learn as much as I could. I can't say I'm proud that the first person to use Jobster from my university entered the school's name in all lowercase letters.

I started off with a degree in Fashion Design with a minor in English.

Started as Student Services coordinator which involved: set up of telephone service for students, customer service, customer contact and correspondence, data entry, accounts reconciliation, research and analysis, reports, problem resolution, bill and payment processing, training and promotional materials, meetings and special events, supervisor for Student Services Assistant. Was promoted to Customer Service Supervisor which involved coordination of telephone service for staff, faculty and students of the university, customer service, customer contact and correspondence, data entry, accounts reconciliation, research and analysis, reports, problem resolution, billing, transaction processing, creation of training and promotional materials, meetings and special events, supervisor for staff of 3 Customer Service Representatives....

I am progressing toward the completion of my Masters degree in Public Administration (MPA).

Completed a rigorous undergraduate chemical engineering program.

Graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Cumulative GPA of 3.613
