What do you miss most about wawa?

What I miss most about working at Wawa was the great team of people i was fortunate enough to have workled with. Somehow, no matter how the days went, just knowing we had each others' support an that we could depend on one another made us glad to be there.

What's the best team you worked with at wawa?

The ladies of the first shift were phenominal! Everyone pulled together to get the job done during the breakfast and lunch rushes. Sometimes it seemed as though we were able to read each other's minds and were completely in sync. There was never any pettiness that is sometimes found within a group. Each person did whatever was necessary without second guessing it or complaining. When the madness ended, most often someone would say something so funny that we'd all have a good laugh and relieve the tension before preparing for the next rush of customers.... read more

What's the secret to getting hired at wawa?

The interviewing process was quite long. You must go through four interview and a testing period before you are hired. This would speak to my "willingness" to go above and beyond" and my "stick-to-it-character" to complete the actual interview process.

Principal Responsibilities include: Supports and follows all Wawa safety and security initiatives. Provides a pleasant shopping experience for all customers, responds to customer complaints or inquiries and solicits customer feedback and input as necessary.

How would you describe what you did at wawa?

I ran shift and worked out weekly work schedules for employees. Received incoming merchandise, took care of daily deposits, had control of money vault. Cashier and Deli worker. Very hard worker. Being a shift manager if an employee did not report to work I would stay and cover that shift so it was not short handed even if it meant I worked 12-16 hours straight and got up the nest morning o be at work at 4 am.... read more

I ran a 24/7 convenience/gasoline store.Being responsible of all aspects of the business.Including customer service,scheduling,labor,ordering.financials,having atleast 35 employess's,saftey.
