Experiences at zachry construction

Yes, I was in a company truck on a very rainy morning headed to work when I lost control of the company vehicle due to the rain. Luckily I was not injuried and was told to stay home and get a rental vehicle and then report to work to take a drug test which I did and passed. I was then told to go back to work. The very next day I was considered REDUCTION OF FORCES. Oh I forgot to say the guy who fired me said he would pray for me......I want to know who is praying for him and the Code of Ethics at Zachry. Contractors are real people with real families and should be treated as such and not like a bunch of throw downs and pick-me up when Zachry needs you....

There really is no answer to that. I have been with Zachry since 2001 but I always get laid off even though I keep being told that I am doing a very good job. I have really been trying hard to get with this company on a perminent basis but it just doesn't seem to work out to my benefit. I get emotional during lay offs because I have been coming to the same job site for a long time and well some of these people here have become like family to me and ithurts when you leave family members that have a certain place in your heart. I try going to other companies but for some reason I always leave the other jobs to come back here....
