Transformation Consultant - Programme Manager
*	Leading an 18-man/month programme to audit existing BSS systems and deliver a strategy for transforming/consolidating numerous OSS/BSS component systems covering their IP, Fixed Wire and Mobile lines of business, delivered over a new NGN infrastructure.
*	Remit subsequently widened to transformation of the entire OSS/BSS architecture, including international subsidiaries in Mobile, Fixed and ISP - objective: to create a harmonised Group technology roadmap.

Strategy/Feasibility Consultant - Regulated business
*	Providing feasibility and strategy consulting for Openreach to resolve issues identified within the business or address regulatory requirements from Industry.  Projects varied in complexity and duration (from days to months), covering aspects such as: technical and commercial viability, operational/process impacts, strategic alignment and regulatory compliance.

Interim Consultant - Programme Auditor/Consultant
*	Providing a rapid assessment of a troubled software development/integration programme to identify problems and provide proposals for prompt resolution of the issues identified.

	Interim Consultant - Solutions
As part of a commercial transformation programme, created and lead a Solutions Consulting/pre-sales team, owning numerous significant business opportunities across BT's 4 main Lines of Business, including:
*	Business Development, Pre-sales and Bid-management activities
*	Designing and promoting the use of a new engagement model for the MBT/BT interaction to move from a tactical and reactive approach to strategic/proactive engagements.

Interim Consultant - Feasibility
*	Undertaking and managing feasibility studies across multiple technology areas within BT, to establish the commercial/technical/regulatory viability of the propositions.

o	UK Government, DEFRA		London &amp; York		Aug 2003 - Dec 2003
Interim Consultant Project Manager - Contract Role
*	Created the recovery strategy for a stalled project, within a flawed financial governance renewal programme for DEFRA, based on Oracle 11i.  Taking interim control of the turn-around strategy for the Project until a permanent owner was in place, liasing with multiple teams, departments and reporting lines.  Ensuring compliance with Prince II and OGC.
 
o	World Bank / UES Ltd		Malawi			Aug 2002 - July 2003
General Manager and IFMIS Programme Manager
*	Designed and implemented a rescue strategy to deliver a new financial system for the Malawi Government, on behalf of the World Bank, as part of a $12.6m IT programme.
*	The project had stalled after over 3 years of little progress and was already $millions over budget.  The solution was redesigned, re-implemented and operational after just 9 months.</description>
