I would say the most challenging aspect of that job is to actually got someone to listen to the song that you are sending. In order to overcome this challenge I wrote integral information in the subject line of the e-mails that would entice a person who was knowledgable in music to open the e-mail. For example one of our artists was working with an Indie producer who is famous in the underground music scene, I made sure to mention his name in the subject line to grab the Blogger's attention.
