Ever since I was younger, I have always had a passion for art. Everything from painting to retouching photos absolutely fascinates me. I really feel that I was born to be an artist. There is no doubt in my mind that I am a perfectionist, and that every project, or task I am given will be treated as If it were my most important project. To me there is no such thing as a "less important" piece of art. All art is beautiful in my eyes, and that is why I love to perfect art in every way that I can. I feel that working in retouching will help me to do this.
Working in retouching is my goal. I am very confident that I will be successful in this area. When I was younger I did not have the technology that is available today. Even then I did everything I could. I was always drawing, painting, and taking photos. When I learned of all the different ways that I can edit photos and perfect pictures with all the retouching technology of today I knew that this was going to be my new form of art.
Back in my home town, Damascus, Syria, I was not able to study art, nevertheless, this was always my dream and something I kept in the back of my mind. I ended up studying engineering and I eventually became a drafter. I was able to work for a company In Syria for 5 years. This was very fun for me because I got to do something that I really enjoyed. Although I loved drafting, when I found out about retouching, and photo editing I knew that this is what I was meant to do. I love to see all the before and after shots of my work. I think its so amazing how you can change appearances and settings all with the click of a button. I really love working on beauty shots the most. I feel that this is my strength. I would love to work aside a photographer, and edit pictures.
I believe that when someone is given the gift of having something they are passionate about, they should go and do something about it. That is why I have decided to do something about my passion. I feel that one can only truly be successful if they love what they do, and I definitely love what I do.
