Catherine, What's one of the projects you worked on at Marchex?

The most challenging project that I have worked on at Marchex was implementing a full HRIS system and managing the integration process with our payroll system. The goal was to have in-depth database and reporting system that would upload successfully into our payroll system to eliminate the need for double entry of information. The HRIS system had just been chosen when I came on board and I took on the responsibility of managing the implementation and integration process. Though significant technical issues delayed the integration piece of the project, the end result is a full HRIS system that is integrated with our payroll system, allows for upload of employee documents, tracks detailed time-off information, and allows managers to access specific necessary information about their teams without the need to directly contact HR.
