I studied dance and graduated with a BA in Dance with an emphasis in Ballroom Dance. I toured with BYU Ballroom Dance Company. I was on the team for three years. I spent my time preparing to become a ballroom Dance instructor. My last year I took an internship working with a local studio as a formation team coach. I was also chosen to write an advocacy paper defending an MFA program for dance to the board of directors of the University. My major GPA was a 3.6. Because of my internship and personal competition credentials I was hired immediately at three different locations to teach ballroom dance, and coach teams. In addition I was a private instructor in the evenings. I have recently received my Associate certification through the ISTD in International Standard Ballroom.

I graduate on April 24, 2008

I spent my time at BYU studying varying aspects of business and communications taking every opportunity to learn and work outside of the normal classroom experience.

It can be seen that a good deal of time has passed since I first entered BYU as a freshman. I would like to address that I spent three years in doing service work in foreign countries and in the US. Through that I was able to better understand other cultures and languages as well as develop an understanding of consumers, their needs and wants.
