I was a full time student and a full time employee and had to manage my time between the two. I was Vice President for the Student Advisory Committee two both years and learned a great deal about being involved and helping others become involved in student activites. It's about the only freebie the U gives to its employees. I have to be at work before 7AM and so I have to be out the door by 5:50 AM to catch the bus that will take me to the train. I usually get to work around 6:45. It's pretty quiet in the morning. The ride home is more difficult. I get off at 3:30 and catch the train back home and wait for the bus or I try to get off a few minutes early to catch a bus then transfer to the bus that goes right by my apartment.
