As a member of the Schreyer Honors College I took many high level courses in and out of my major that were not available to the majority of students. My academic focus was game design and film production. I was also a member of the Computer Network Club that held many networking events, provided networking resources to students, and taught various computer classes. I also received a minor in Information Sciences and Technology.

Being an engineering student at Penn State has some difficulties. It's difficult working around the library's hours, as I need lots of time to do work and to study for my heavy work load. I do undergraduate research with professors and increase my knowledge exponentially every day.

Researching Societal Deviance from the Norms. The purpose was to identify deviant behavior among a subset population group. After identification, there was a several-month period of collecting documentation (photographs, transcriptions, publicly available police reports, personal observations, interviews, etc.) on that particular population, then compounding the information to interpret statistically why such behavior occurs, what affected the behavior and, consequently, the effects of said behavior. Societal consequences for deviating from the norm.

When I was there the computer science department was very underfunded and the professors had offices in trailers. The networking lab was a small room in one of the trailers. It has wires everywhere; it was an accident waiting to happen. Fortunately, the professors made the best of it and were a great help and always made themselves available.
