While at Carthage I participated in many things. Firstly I was a member of Pi Theta Sorority for 4 years. While an active member I was the head of the fundraising committee for 2.5 years, Parliamentarian for 2.5 years, and organized many service projects.
I also had an intensive internship at the Racine Police Department while at Carthage. For one full semester I followed police officers, detectives, and participated in many different levels of police work. Lastly, I went to Africa with Carthage for three weeks in January of 2006. We were immersed in the African culture and able to see how people from different cultures handle encounters.
