Refined my skills as an artist in painting and drawing, and built a portfolio. Familiarized myself with many creative computer programs, like photoshop, and imovie. Learned how to be not only a good artist, but a good writer and photographer. I became excellent at critiquing work, and problem solving, as well as accepting critiques. I learned to think inovatively, and how to promote myself as an artist.

My major was painting and printmaking but I was also a teaching assistant at the Nelson Atkins gallery of art. I had classes in psychology and child development as well and always believed I would integrate art with teaching children. The education I received was invaluable to my development as an artist.
