First, I would pay off my student loans. Then I would offer to pay for my siblings schooling. I would purchase an aircraft to start an Aircraft Charter Company. Purchase a house, and invest a good portion of it.

I'd pay off all our debt, get our family members out of debt, and then complete expansion of our restaurant.

Then I'd hire someone to help manage the restaurant so we could fly off to a 'working' vacation in Italy and a 'research' (genealogy) vacation in Scotland.

Upon our return I'd open a research and education center for local history, historic preservation, civic engagement and consumer / family living skills education. I'd spend most of my days researching, writing, blogging, and teaching...and at night, Nick and I would go visit with customers at our restaurant while our manager and new head chef handled all the routine responsibilities.

Talk to World Vision and the Passion Group (Louie Giglio and Chris Tomlin) how this money can be used by their organizations.
I would keep just enough money to pay off any debt I may have before winning the $50 million, perhaps pay for a house in cash. Invest some. But I would do what John Wesley did with most of his earnings.

Maybe build a safe place for kids to come? Hang out. Learn.

I just don't get excited about money. I just feel it's one of those necessary evils. Money isn't evil but what some people have done with theirs.

I would put most of it into my savings account, then put the rest into my checking account. From my checking account I would take care of what I considered my needs first, like food and gas, and then spend money on entertainment.

First I'd pay off my daughter's mortgage, pay my youngest daughter's college tuition up front including books, art supplies --whatever she needed, buy my wife a BMW 760iL and a boat.. she's been through a lot these past few years... donate money to some charities, especially animal shelters....fix up our home a little, help out some friends, maybe buy myself a kick-butt laptop.... I would try to do some good with that kind of money....I beleive you have to do something good with it, and I would really try to do that....

If I won that much money, first and foremost, I would pay off all of my debts, my family's debts, give money to charities, and then whatever may be left over, I would offer to pay for a vacation for my siblings, their significant others and myself to enjoy time away from the daily stresses.

If I won $50 million, the first thing I would do is pay off my student loans. I'd probably put the money in my parents name so I don't go on a shopping spree. I would also buy a new car and probably move to a different state or country.

Pay off all of my bills, buy a house, donate to my favorite charities, start an organization devoted to the aid of human trafficking victims, and would make sure my immediate family are taken care of. I would save the rest to send my own (not existing now) children to college, and/or start a full-ride scholarship program at a certain college for students in desparate need of financial aid.

If I was to win $50 million dollars tomorrow the first thing I would do would be to put majority of it in my savings. I would then use the rest of the money to assit my parents in affording my college education, as well as giving to charity groups, and giving to organizations that help those that suffer.

Talk to my lawyer to set-up a LLC to use to hide my identity. Once I had the money in hand I would resign, set-up a small foundation to suppport (issue to be determined), help family members in need and then become a professional student racking up degrees.
