Amy S., How much coffee do you drink daily at KPMG?

Very little as I'm trying to do the water thing. But I'll drink it once in a while when I need a little jump start or just want to have a taste/smell. Our office was renovated last year so we now have new Flavia coffee machines with a selection of yummy individual drink packets (http://www.myflavia.com/Myflavia/en-US/brewers/s350.htm)

Amy S., What are five things you can see from your desk at KPMG?

I'm in a NEW cube setup as the space I'm in now was renovated last year so everything's all fresh and shiny. The cube has frosted panels at the top which is nice. Oh, and I'm literally 5 steps away from where the printers are :)

1. my dual monitor setup (basically my laptop screen and an lcd monitor... the best thing since sliced bread! I can't imagine going back to working with a single screen.)
2. jug of water that looks like a mini water cooler bottle (trying to do the 8 glasses of water thing)
3. my wacom tablet (great for making comments on PDFs and PPTs)
4. my lime green Creative Zen MicroPhoto
5. photos: a picture of my hubby and postcards from my sisters backpacking Europe trip. (I need to get more photos in here)

Amy S., How did you find your job at KPMG?

A recruiter at KPMG contacted me through Monster but I didn't respond as I was employed at the time and wasn't actively looking. 2 weeks passed and the recruiter emailed me a second time to ascertain my interest. Good thing he did! I emailed him my resume and the following week after 2 rounds of interviews, I was hired!

I don't know that I have a "most" influential mentor but I do try to identify the things each co-worker does best, learn from it, and incorporate it into my own work style.
