I started taking HTML classes in 96 and haven't stopped learning, reading, succeeding, failing, trying all the new stuff! People have encouraged me over the last year to open my own consulting company and so finally ... here I am!

Brad, Who are your role models?

People who have 'made it' in life, not just in business. I'm far more interested in someone who has succeeded, failed, then come back with a brand new self than someone who bit down and never let go. Like Kevin Costner in any movie he's been in.

Got to go in, talk with the director of a company who needed a consultant to build out some prototypes for some sites they owned, pitched my business experience coupled with my design background and they offered me the contract. It was nice to go in and have someon "get me" without having it be an 8-hr interview with everyone and their mother involved.
