      <description>I'm from the Philadelphia suburbs, so the most challenging aspect of this job was to identify and sympathize with students from poor city neighborhoods.  Most of my students did not receive decent public school educations, and I quickly learned how fortunate I have been throughout my life.  I learned about, began to identify with, and became fascinated by minority cultures.  While challenging and isolating at first, it became one of the most eye-opening experiences of my life.</description>
