isolde424, What are the three things that provide you satisfaction in your work?

1) It is important to me that I am doing something that I enjoy. If my heart is not into my work, it is very hard for me to do my absolute best.
2) I like to know that my work is valued and appreciated. I do not expect to be patted on the back every 10 minutes, but if I am doing a good job, I just like to know so that I know that I am on the right track and where I can do even better.
3) Compensation (such as salary, benefits, and bonuses) is very important to me, b/c it helps me determine whether or not the job is worth my drive time and cost, whether or not I am willing to relocate, and whether or not I would possibly need a second job.

isolde424, What makes you a great coworker?

I treat my coworkers as I would want to be treated -with respect. I am not a "back-stabber", and I will try to help a coworker in any way I can, as long as they do not take advantage of me. I do not take advantage of others, nor do I take credit for another person's work. I realize that I am not at a workplace to make friends and be social, but it is very important to me that my coworkers and I get along well together.

isolde424, What was the last really difficult interview question you were asked? How did you respond?

For me, the toughest questions are equally "Why do you want to work for this company?" and "What do you consider your weakest quality?" The first one has always been tricky b/c I have not always been in a position to pick and choose jobs based upon the company; instead, I have had to take jobs b/c I need the job itself, regardless of the company. My answers to this question have just depended on different circumstances at the time. As far as my weakest quality is concerned, I have always had to say that unfortunately, I am not good at multitasking. However, I made it known that when I am assigned a project, that it will be done correctly and very well, when I am finished with it. I find it very difficult to stay focused on something, when I have to stop and do another task; however, I have never been someone who cuts corners.

isolde424, If you could choose, what city would you most like to live/work in? Why?

I would like to stay near Atlanta, GA, if possible, b/c I grew up here, my family is all here, and I know the area fairly well. Climate would be a great determining factor in where I live, so if I absolutely had to relocate, I would prefer to either remain in the Southeastern states, or go all the way to a coastal city in California.

I would like to have a great job working as a designer -whether graphic, interior, publication, or Web. It really does not matter to me, whether or not I am working for a company or running my own business, as long as I love it and am well-compensated. I would also like to have achieved a Master's Degree -as continuing my education is very important to me.

Relocating is negotiable. It would depend greatly upon the compensation, the level advancement w/in the company, and the location itself.

The first word would probably be "funny". I find that bad days are so much more bearable and fly by so much quicker if I can laugh or make someone else laugh. They also might say "stubborn", but I would say "determined", b/c I will dig in my heels to see something through, to make sure that I complete a task, or to stand up for my beliefs. "Friendly" would also be a definite description, b/c I try to always make sure that I treat someone or something else the way I would like to be treated.

isolde424, What are you most passionate about?

When speaking in terms of a job I am very passionate about the work I do, and doing it well is very important to me. I see my work as a reflection of me, and when something prevents me from doing it well, I am not a happy camper! Unfortunately, I am not the best at multitasking b/c I can be somewhat of a perfectionist! However, if I can be left alone w/ one project or assignment and not have to stop in the middle of it to do something else, it will be done very well. I take a lot of pride in what I do, and I do not feel very good about myself and my abilities when I do not feel that I am able to give my full attention to something.
