If you want to hear the whole story, please email me. But to sum it up, I found out about SPI and decided to interview with them. The interview went well, so they asked for some references. But one of my references decided to snitch on me (lesson: be choosy about who you trust!) and I ended up getting fired - and I hadn't even been offered the position yet. BUT...it was the best thing that could have happened for me professionally, so I hold no ill will for whoever tattled on me! Just goes to show you that things happen for a reason even if we may not understand them at the time!

I stumbled into Internet Research based on a referral from my brother's wife who was a recruiter at JSI. I was living in Tampa FL at the time waiting tables (a year and a half after graduating from college with honors!!) when she called me with an opportunity. I checked it out; it sounded interesting, so I interviewed and ultimately I was hired and moved up to Cincinnati.

My first job was as a kennel ward in a veterinary clinic. I bathed, fed, medicated, and cleaned up after the animals. I decided I did NOT want to be a veterinarian after this job!

My brother - he is a true overcomer and living proof that just because other people tell you that you'll never amount to nothing does not mean you have to allow it to come true! He is a product of the books he has read and the people with whom he has associated over the past 6 years.
