Eoin, How would you describe what you did at Sierra Club?

This is my "day job". I service over 200 computers all over the united states. These computers reside in the Sierra Club's Field offices, and help our local campaigns succeed. Though the work gets redundant at times, knowing I support environmental advocates makes the job worth while.

US Grappling consumes 90% of my consulting time. I love being on the ground floor of a grassroots sport's craze.

I started out fixing home computers. Now I advise small businesses on Free/Open Source Software solution integration. I set up LAMP servers, and advise on custom PHP applications. I still consider myself at a junior level when it comes to development, but my exposure increases daily.

The benefits were outstanding (especially the retirement) at JCA. Also, the people were wonderful to work with (even from the help-desk perspective). It was the satisfaction I got out of working ina nonprofit that I'd rate the best aspect of working for JCA.
