Tana, What profession other than yours would you like to try?

I would LOVE to be a web designer. I have created a few web sites, for my own small business as well as for friends. I was asked to design a web site for a law firm where I worked a couple years ago and I did a pretty decent job with that, especially considering that they couldn't get their act together about what they wanted. LOL! I redesigned the site for a local women's chorus, however they seem to be quite content with their current (ugly!) site instead of the site I made for them; that's their choice, I guess! I realize there is a lot that I don't know about web design and more things that I know "of" but don't know how to resolve, such as variances between browsers and operating systems. I would love to have the opportunity to learn web design on the job! :-)

Tana, Who was your most influential mentor and what did they teach you?

Mr. Fabian, the principal of my elementary school, was certainly one of my most influential mentors. He taught me (and ALL of the students in the school) the meaning of the word RESPONSIBILITY. It was common for him to stop various students in the hall and ask them to spell or define this word. This experience has stayed with me all my life!
