Colleen, What advice do you have for someone looking for their first job out of college?

Network with everyone you know, follow up on every contact, make sure your resume is perfect. Be willing to start at the bottom rung of an industry, then work hard and let it be known that you want to move up. Always do more than you're asked to do, and keep a record of your accomplishments so that you can refer to them when asking for a raise or promotion. And don't burn any bridges--you never know who might be your next potential employer.

My strengths are in account/project management--I understand how to mitigate risk and make sure projects deliver on time, within budget and to the client's satisfaction. I'm a hard worker who's willing to pitch in when needed and help my team reach its goals. A well-rounded life is important to me--I work hard at my marriage, have several hobbies and take care of myself through healthy eating and regular exercise.
