<title>Janice, How would you describe what you did at Pacific Bell Telephone Company?</title>
      <link>http://www.jobster.com/at/answer/view/580217?answer_class=AnswerBase</link>
<description>Between the positions Operator and 411 operator, I would receive between 850 - 1200 incoming calls per day. As a 0 operator I would connect our customer to telephone numbers when he or she has had difficulty dialing direct. Place emergency calls, collect coins for payment. The position 411 operator would search addresses or telephone numbers for our customers. Connect the customer to telephone number found. In the postion Business Service Representative, I would create a new business order for our Clec clients, who inwhich provided business lines for their clients. This required orders to be completed within a 4 hour window, upon receievng it. The department also transfered Number Portability lines. Lastley, I worked as a business rep collecting payment.</description>
