I watch my mom struggle to raise four children as a single mother. My mom never let her surrounding situations stop her from achieving her goals. I watched my mom graduate from two different colleges as a child growing up and even now she continues to learn and grow as a professional. I think seeing my moms accomplishements taught me that the only person that can get in the way of meeting my life goals is myself. I learned that you can do what ever you put your mind to with a little dedication and hard work.
