I hire recent college graduates from all over the country and get them excited about being a Technical Recruiter for Technisource! There's usually a dueling piano bar and drinks involved... (pics available on my Facebook profile)

Finding people that believe me! It's an awesome opportunity, so it sounds too good to be true. And for whatever reason the coffee pod machine in the break room only brews half a cup. Grrrr.....

Look for companies that offer training programs!! That's the key to getting over the hump for recent grads. The ultimate catch 22 is that you can't get experience without experience, so this is the best way to get your foot in the door and work your way up! How do you get into the training program you might ask?!? Network, Network, Network!!

Kristi, What was your best interview experience like?

My best interview experience was with T-Mobile and had nothing to do with the interview itself. The receptionist (who I later grew to know very well as she is T-Mo's house mother) had a candy dish of mixed candy including the little root beer ones (my favorite!) so I grabbed one. When I came out of the interview she had put the rest of them in a baggy for me with my name on it since apparently no one ever ate those. Small gesture, huge impact.
