I have developed a strong appreciation for color and culture which can be seen with my Pantone campaign. My understanding and awareness of art has been sharpened with my time spent at SCAD, the art I have produced, and my appreciation for the concept behind the work. In conjunction with my passion for art, I have also cultivated a strong work ethic while working independently or with a team. This is evident with my involvement with my school's advertising agency where I worked with a copywriter and graphic designer to create campaigns for school functions and local businesses. As Vice President of the Advertising Club at SCAD my leadership and communication skills were strongly improved, namely with the activities I organized for the student body. Furthermore, my achievements have been recognized when I was the recipient of an ADDY Award (2007) and the Gold SCADDY Award (2007).Fine arts has given me a universal outlook on creative design and my time spent at SCAD has especially strengthened this outlook.
