KATHLEEN, What profession other than yours would you like to try?

There are a few professions that I'd love to try out. First I would like to go to beauty school and become a hairdresser-- it's something that has always interested me. Second, I'd like to do interior decorating-- my mind is always wondering with great ideas of what I'd do to change a room around! Third, I'd love to start my own little business making purses and having purse parties.

KATHLEEN, What kind of job are you looking for?

I am looking to start a career in Human Resources Management. A company allowing for further advancement would be a plus! I am a college graduate and am currently working towards an MBA degree in HR Management. I have a background in retail with some experience in hiring, training, and basic payroll. I also have experience in the banking realm on the retail side as a teller for over 2 years and in lending as an Indirect Funding Specialist. I understand that I don't have all of the HR experience most companies are seeking but I need to start somewhere. I am extremely motivated, reliable, and work well in team environments. I grasp new concepts easily and quickly and have the ability to handle confidential information. While at LCU I have acquired great leadership and interpersonal skills that I feel will be transferable to this career. I'm ready for this new career-- I'm just waiting to be noticed and taken seriously!
