Malea, What's the interview process like at SOS Technical?

All of our recruiters are extremely thorough. When going through a telephone interview with an SOS Technical Recruiter, you should expect to be on the phone for approximately 30 minutes. The more information you give us will help us to send out a great blurb about you and your experience that makes you the "silver bullet" for that position.

Malea, What advice do you have for someone looking for their first job out of college?

Be realistic! That is my number one piece of advice! When I first graduated from college, I thought that I was going to make the big bucks because of my degree...well reality quickly set in and I came to realize that experience is what determines your salary 99.9% of the time! Don't rely on salary calculators to tell you how much you should be making. Go out there and find a career and know that promotion and the outstanding salary that you deserve...take time.

Malea, What was your best interview experience like?

The best interview that I could have would be with a candidate who loves talking about themselves! I can use all the "necessary" information that you are willing to give me. It is never fun to feel like you are pulling teeth when it comes to getting information from a candidate. I also love candidates who educate me in the process...the more I know about you, your skills, your qualifications, your previous processes...the better I can market you.
