A Team Member had been roughed up by a poor HR process. I had to work hard to support the Team Member as well as the process itself, without taking sides, and try to turn a bad situation into a fair and equitable outcome.

Strategic consultant - helping people sort out where they are, where they want to go, how to get there. I do a *little* of that in the current job, and it is rewarding and fun to bring clarity.

Other than that, something probably in the arts.
Ski bum would always be fun too. :)

Besides mowing lawns, working behind the counter in the small town hobby shop. It was fun helping people learn, pointing them in the right direction, repairing kid's model train locomotives, and being a semi-advanced modeler myself.

The manager interviewing me asked about my approach to some problems he was having, I answered, and the next week he implemented. I was on the phone to them a couple of times helping out during the process.

When I was finally hired, that particular organization grabbed the ball an ran very fast.

Best interview - doing the job!
