Eartha, What path did you take to your current career?

My professional experience started back in 1996 in Atlanta, where the
next 5 years would include working in the Southeast's largest
photographic supply doing professional sales, starting a home-based
darkroom, where I made custom prints for many professional
photographers and artists in Atlanta, beginning Photo Camp, a
photography enrichment program I designed for teenagers, and then
going on to the Georgia State Capitol as a House Photographer for 2
years. In 2000, I moved to Cleveland, Ohio to be near my family. I worked in professional sales at Dodd Camera, while maintaining some freelance work. In 2002, I gave birth to a child, his name is Claes.
From 2003 to 2006, I pursued a degree in communications from Cleveland State University.

Eartha, Who was your most influential mentor and what did they teach you?

First, I think of Roger Sizemore, photo wizard, at Showcase Inc. in Atlanta. His knowledge and the ability to answer all my questions with demonstration and wit provided me with the courage to dive into photography deeper.
A very important second answer would be, my customers. They have provided me challenging questions and projects...which have led to some significant experience and memories.
