The managing of  IT policy and services to enable alignment of IT strategies with business strategies, project management and the handling and prioritizing of major multi-year multi-jurisdiction projects, County and Municipal Government, budget and financial systems and analysis, contract management, team building, coordination and coaching. That required an expertise in directing multi facetted technical projects, with a successful track record for streamlining operations, reducing budgets, developing partnerships, negotiations, promoting large team coordination and cooperation, customer service solutions, and doing more with less.       <description>Planning and managing the development and implementation of a new 700 MHz public safety radio communications system for the City. The system will replace the four systems the City currently owns and operates with one centrally operated system. Managing a system project from inception and project definition to implementation and post-implementation analysis and planning. My responsibilities included all phases, such as project development, implementation strategy, planning and support, system requirements, implementation options analysis, procurement, conversion planning and operational support requirements. My duties included developing relationships with other regional partners to enhance cooperation.  The project is estimated to cost $150 million.</description>
