<title>Jonathan, What was your best interview experience like?</title>
      <link>http://www.jobster.com/at/answer/view/206983?answer_class=AnswerBase</link>
<description>My best interview was with two IT Managers at Expeditors International. Instead of utterly persuading the managers/interviewers to hire me there was a balance of getting to know the company/managers and getting to know me. The two IT Managers I interviewed with learned about my college experience and career interests while I learned about their career paths, what their company does, and what it is like working there. It even came to a point where one of the interviewers and I share interests in "negotiation". I talked about my Negotiation course in college and experience reading "Negotiate This" by Herb Cohen whereas he shared about his experience reading "Getting To Yes", which I've read too. After learning my experience mentoring students, leading orientations and retreats, organizing events, and being part of Toastmasters International, he has suggested that I would be great in Training and Development. It felt like he's read my career aspiration since I have thought about becoming a corporate trainer or training specialist many times. Unfortunately at the time there was no opening in their Training and Personnel Development group for me to pursue. (Though I did not obtain a job at Expeditors) I can confidently say that this has been my best experiential interview thus far.</description>
