Veronica, What's your dream job?

My dream job is one where I have the liberty to use the best technology available to me. One that allows me the time to find the resources that will make me more effective at what I do and will allow me to provide the best results for my department. I like to work in teams, but I also think that it is important to collect some great achievements, prove to yourself that you can do it better, faster, cheaper and with less effort that anybody else.

Veronica, What advice do you have for someone looking for their first job out of college?

Keep in mind that the market is flooded with highly qualified talent. Showcase yourself at your best. Never tell a possible employer that you can learn a technology. Hiring managers want to see what you can do and how well can you do it, not what is your learning potential. Do your homework and prepare yourself for a face to face interview. Learn as much as possible about the company that is interviewing you. This will provide the Hiring manager with a good impression of how much you want to be a part of their solution and not add to their problems. NEVER LIE about what you can deliver.
