What advice do you have for someone who wants a job like yours?

I believe in order to successfully obtain a job you need to be positive, open and be able to network and communicate effectively.

What was your first job?

My first job was working in retail at a store which sold Christmas products all year round when I was fourteen years old. This job taught me how to utilize my communication skills to encourage customers to browse items they may not have intentionally come in to contact with or initially desired. This job also taught me how to creatively market less desirable products or those we had purchased in bulk and were looking to unload.... read more

What profession other than yours would you like to try?

Who was your most influential mentor and what did they teach you?

An old professor of mine from my undergraduate studies is one person who I value as a friend and mentor. Through his excitement for the field of Psychology and teaching he opened my eyes to all of the different avenues available to me not only in school, but in life. He has been a valuable person in my life for the last eight years where he has encouraged me to try new things and to continually challenge myself.... read more

What was your most memorable summer job?

Working as an event planner for a politician and planning weddings. I enjoy jobs that challenge me creatively and allow me to use my organizational skills to make an event successful and memorable.

What's your ideal role within an organization?

Ideally I would like to have a role where I am consulting or training individuals in environments which allows them to be more productive in their organization or career. This would utilize both my Bachelors degree in Psychology and my MBA.

Part of the time spent in the office and part of the time spent outside of the office either at conferences or meetings with clients and other professionals

What kind of job are you looking for?

I am looking for a job with flexibility that continues to challenge me and introduce me to new people and new ideas. I would like a job where I can demonstrate my strengths in communicating, writing, and presenting.
