I assist the director of development in the execution of three large-scale fundraising events annually. The director handles sponsorships, and most everything else is left to me.

It was a situation in which I'd not previously been placed, and one I hope to avoid in the future, but I learned volumes about conflict resolution and having a thick skin!...
