What path did you take to your current career?
I took no path - and that's why it's taken me so long to get to where I am. There are no regrets, however, because I had so many interests when I was younger that I couldn't really pinpoint what I wanted to do. My first job was very general, focusing on marketing, so I was able to pick the tasks that I most enjoyed, focus on them, then find jobs where they played a prominent role. That's not as easy as it sounds....

What was your first job?
First "real" job, or first thing that I got paid for? This doesn't truly count but when I was 12, my mom's boss hired me to come in and teach their small staff how to use a Macintosh, to which their office had just switched. I'm still not sure if they truly needed the help (well, honestly they did: no one had ever heard of a "mouse:, much less used one), or were just trying to make me feel special. Regardless, 20 years later, here I am typing on a Powerbook, on which I do graphic design; I guess I'm lucky that I knew what I wanted to do at an early age....

How did you find your job at
survival?
Oddly enough, I found about this job through the Seattle Times. I say that now because who uses newspapers to get that information in this day and age. And it wasn't even an online listing - I had done the old school "circle the ad in the paper" sort of thing. And I stayed there for 7 years until the company ceased operations. (No, it wasn't my fault)...
