What advice do you have for someone looking for their first job out of college?

How do you get into the training program you might ask?!? Network, Network, Network!!... read more

What have your past employers loved about you?

My past employers have always counted on me for in depth research and to add a creative edge to any project whether it be coordinating a job fair or writing corporate policy. Who said Policies and Procedures had to be boring?!

What was your best interview experience like?

My best interview experience was with T-Mobile and had nothing to do with the interview itself. The receptionist (who I later grew to know very well as she is T-Mo's house mother) had a candy dish of mixed candy including the little root beer ones (my favorite!) so I grabbed one. When I came out of the interview she had put the rest of them in a baggy for me with my name on it since apparently no one ever ate those. Small gesture, huge impact.... read more

What kind of job are you looking for?

Sourcing rocks my socks! Right now my dream job would be one where I sourced all day long whether it be via the job boards, campus visits, job fairs, blogging, LinkedIn, podcasting, etc.

What was your first job?

My very first job was keeping the accounting books for my parents' business while I was in middle school. I made $20/wk, which was just enough to buy a CD and dinner at CiCi's Pizza after the game on Friday!

Amanda Mabee
Technical Recruiter at Technisource

Kristi recruited me for the Technisource Training Program for Technical Recruiters. She was available anytime to answer my millions of questions about the company, the program, anything. While I was in TX for training, she was very inviting throughout the whole process and made my transition of moving cross country for this amazing opportunity a breeze. I would recommend speaking with her to anyone who wants to see what Technisource may do for their career.

Kristi is an awesome recruiter! I have spoken to many recruiters over the years and Kristi is the only one that I think did a fantastic job! She is very personable and responsive to candidates needs, works hard and has one of the best fun loving attitudes around! I would let her hire me again but I'm already here.
