Who was your most influential mentor and what did they teach you?

John, a supervisor at a previous job, helped me to understand the importance of clarity and honesty in marketing writing--when customers feel you're being honest with them, not talking down to them, and not trying to sell them something they don't need or want, they're more likely to stick around.

What kind of job are you looking for?

I'm looking for a position that allows me to do what I do best: help companies communicate over the Web. I am happy to do the writing and editing, and still happier to be able to contribute to strategy as it's being developed and explore how new technologies can be used.

How did you find your job at Circle.com?

A friend at the company knew I was interested in writing and editing, and, though I had very little experience at the time, arranged an interview. I brought some sample copy and was hired.

How did you find your job at Sapient?

I decided I was ready to move on from circle.com and Boston, and happened to know someone at Sapient. HR called right away, and I completed the hiring proces in a few days.
