What kind of job are you looking for?

I want to lead and be led. I want to learn and teach. I want to be given complex tasks and deliver simple answers. I want to be challenged to learn new technology every day. What makes you a great employee?

I am known for building happy, productive teams. This has been the case whether I was the official leader or just a team member. This is a result of my ability to find common ground in complex relationships.

What are the three best things about working at mayo clinic?

1. It's a job where you truly make a difference in the world every day.
2. Technology is never far from medicine there. It was definitely part of the business.
3. The variety of the challenges were so diverse, learning was intense.

What do you miss most about Sr. Systems Engineer, Winn-Dixie Stores?

Moon River Pizza in Murray Hill. Best darn slice in Jax. Actually, I miss the team we had. Everything asked was answered with a "Yes we can!" Usually over pizza.

What did you learn along the way at Sr. Systems Engineer, Merrill Lynch and?

I confirmed that I was a very adept system admin, but that there are others that are also very good. They had a strong team of IT pros there. It was a situation where I mentored and was mentored as well. It was great to work with so many accomplished people in the same career as mine.

What did you learn along the way at Director of It, .NET software developer?

I learned the operations side of IT. I created budgets and long term plans for the entire IT department. I managed teams. I also designed and supported the infrastructure there day-to-day.
