Myspace or Facebook (or neither)?
I'm on Facebook, but the onslaught of news about people adding or using applications that I don't care about is driving me away. Myspace is such a train wreck of design and usability that causes me to brace myself every time I click on someone's myspace link -- if I click on the link at all....

What was the main reason for accepting your job (location, opportunity, money) at
Jobster?
I really wanted to stretch myself and learn some new technologies, and Jobster recognized that even though I didn't know their technologies yet, I was still worth hiring because they trusted that I could get up to speed quickly. Too many companies only hire people for things they already know, but many engineers really want to do new things.......

At USF, I majored in Computer Science, with minors in Math and English Literature. I worked for the school's weekly newspaper, The Foghorn, served on the student body's Judicial Board, participated in several singing groups on campus, and worked for the University's computer labs and the graphic design center....

How would you describe what you did at
Apple?
I worked for Apple's build and release department, which ensured that all software built by Apple had its source code and build tools documented and archived. I also worked on tools for breaking down Apple's domestic software installers and turning them into internationalized software installation packages....

How would you describe what you did at
Amazon.com?
At Amazon, I re-built the Your Account Order History, Order Details, and Edit Order features for Amazon and partner websites, paying special attention to performance and security issues.
When I moved the Performance/Monitoring team, I developed a new hardware/software monitoring portal for Amazon engineers, incorporating multiple types of visualization techniques for keeping tabs on the many thousands of data streams regarding performance, reliability, etc....
