What advice do you have for someone looking for their first job out of college?

If you want a specific position, you may need to start planning a year or two in advance; get some experience under your belt with internships or part-time jobs. Immerse yourself in your market. Understand your customers' problems and needs. Read anything you can find on product mangement -- blogs, books, articles. Be curious. Go outside of your comfort zone. Learn about all of the aspects of the business. Learn about all aspects of the product development process. Create a plan for the future.... read more
