Something that allows me to take my knowledge of online marketing to the next level and work on high level operational projects to improve site enhancement as well as external advertising (driving traffic to the site). Also combines strategy in the form of running an online business (reviewing company P&L, etc.). In another 10 years I would love to start my own online retailer website. Anything that would help me learn the ins and outs to position myself for that ultimate goal would be great!
I am sure by that time though we will be on web 100.0:-)...

Working in teams and groups for most of the MBA program. This was great because I met a lot of interesting and different people ranging from entrepreneurs to Vice Presidents in large corporations.

Author of fantasy fiction. I love books like Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings. Anything that takes people out of their day to day stress into another world is worth it.

Something that is positive, fun, entertaining, and constantly teaches me something new.

Something that allows me to travel on a minimal scale (25%-30%) and gives me the ability to work in my pajamas from my home office when I am not traveling:-)

My true dream job is working for a company that fosters learning and challenges you to be the best you can be but gives you the tools to do so. Having the ability to really be a contributor and creating an environment that is flexible for both learning and upward movement....

Do not be afraid to really find out what your true calling is or what you enjoy doing and make that your career. Working in the real world is definitely a reality check and once you start moving up the corporate ladder it is harder to just reshift priorities and focus on something different.

Create offer/marketing strategy across online vehicles (i.e. email, site promotions, search, affiliates, etc.) and across customer segments. Analyze and track product and department level results against financial goals. Develop and implement triggers to effectively reach sales objectives. Review product trends and seasonality to market areas with the highest growth and volume opportunity. Implementation and development of business rules for site personalization tool, management of new and existing online loyalty vendors. Growth and maintenance of online affiliate program (Linkshare). Communication with upper management to help lead projects specific to their area for the online channel, and business owner of various online marketing site enhancements....

Keeping up with a multi-channel and multi-faceted organization like Office Depot. Even though my current experience as a manager within our Online Marketing department is geared towards managing the web I still have to be conscious of our other channels of business to ensure a consistent message to the customer that could be shopping in more then one channel....
