What do you do for fun?

I'm a very active and competitive person, I enjoy the usual outdoor activities like playing basketball, tossing the football around and going to baseball games. What are the most challenging aspects of your job?

I would say the most challenging aspect of my job would be patience. I get excited and anxious when new products, changes and information comes into my department. For example our company is building a new facility with all new cable runs, switches, servers and workstations; it's coming up soon for all of us to move, but I wish it was sooner. Who are your role models?

I'm fortunate to have many role models in my life; my Grandmother was the one who started me in the direction of technology. She always saw the importance of continuing education and the need for people like me in the work force. My parents are a huge influence on me; they are both hard working and kind. They are the true example of what I want to be, and how I want to carry myself in life. They worked hard to raise our family, and every day I am thankful to have them in my life.... read more

What are you most passionate about?

I am a strong advocate for extending my knowledge in the field by constantly educating myself about network security, current web standards, and server-side scripting languages, like ASP and PHP. I always felt that a day wasted was a day you didn't learn anything new. With continuing your education you are not only helping yourself in your day-to-day work place, but you're improving the quality of your work around you. I look at education as a virus; if you have an open forum where you can share ideas with your peers, you can improve the team as a whole.... read more

What's your dream job?

My dream job is to lead a team/department into new technologies that will improve the performance and security of the company. I will establish a team of individuals that will bring great insight and discussion to the table to help steer the organization to the right technical future.
